StriKeShifter™
A visual, one-click approach to navigating and constructing advanced option hedges — now being reframed as an interactive prototype designed to demonstrate the technology, generate data, and validate its economics.
From a Few Familiar Shapes to a Much Larger Hedge Vocabulary
Traditional stock hedging interfaces expose only a small set of familiar structures. AAAHedge was conceived to make dozens of additional risk/reward configurations accessible as standardized choices rather than manually “legging” multi-part trades.

Concept Visualization Using thinkorswim
The screens below are concept mockups built with thinkorswim imagery to show how the patented ideas could be implemented. They are not a current or planned thinkorswim product and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, or implementation by thinkorswim.

StriKeShifter™
Instead of forcing a user to reconstruct a multi-leg position field by field, StriKeShifter presents directional movement through related hedge structures. The interface concept is intended to make the mathematics visual and reduce strike, call/put, expiration and entry errors.
Point. Click. Shift. Understand the resulting risk.

Prototype First: Make It a Game
The immediate objective is not to rebuild a brokerage platform. It is to turn the core mechanics into a focused interactive game/prototype: users make choices, shift structures, see the risk/reward consequences and generate a measurable record of how the system behaves.

Math Made Visual
The Funalyzer concept turns payoff geometry into an intuitive visual language. The prototype can use that same principle: teach the relationships by interaction rather than by requiring the player to begin with option-pricing notation.

The Market-Maker Proof
The strategic purpose of the prototype is to create evidence that can eventually be put in front of market makers. The thesis to test is that standardized, related hedge structures can create attractive opportunities even in very tight markets when economics are examined through the edge-per-delta concept and across the resulting inventory/order-flow mix.
This is a proposition to be demonstrated with data, not assumed. A successful proof of concept would quantify the opportunity and provide market makers with something far more persuasive than a pitch: observable behavior, transaction logic and measurable economics.
Why the Ecosystem Can Benefit
The original AAAHedge work identified potential benefits across customers, brokers, market makers and exchanges: broader strategy selection, visual risk information, diversified position inventory and additional order flow.
The prototype gives us a practical way to test those claims incrementally before attempting a production trading system.

Long-Term Direction
Game → proof → market-maker economics → transactional infrastructure. If those stages validate the thesis, the long-term opportunity is a purpose-built marketplace — ultimately a full-fledged exchange designed around these standardized structures and their economics.
The exchange is the destination, not the starting assumption. Each preceding stage is intended to earn the right to move to the next.
